The Family Y | The Family Y at Mahackeno | Architecture and Design For more than 50 years, the Family Y has owned 32-acres at Mahackeno, but the campus has been used primarily by summer campers. The new Family Y will be set in the remote northeast corner of the campus, adjacent to the Merritt Parkway, and sloped into the natural terrain. This superb location will preserve the existing camp and allow for preservation of woods, trails and open space.
